Majid Keyvanlou, P.Eng

With over 10 years of structural engineering experience across residential, commercial, and institutional projects in Ontario, I founded Avest Engineering to offer something that can be hard to find in larger firms. A engineer who is personally involved in every project, from the first conversation to the stamped drawings.

Before starting Avest, I worked at three of Ontario's respected structural engineering practices. At RJC Engineers, I focused on high-rise residential towers and long-term care facilities, working across structural systems and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams through design and construction. At Entuitive, I delivered structural design for hospitals, institutional buildings, residential and mixed-use projects. Earlier in my career at McIntosh Perry, I gained hands-on experience in temporary structures and construction engineering.

That range of experience across scales, building types, and project complexity shapes how I work at Avest. I understand what architects and designers need: fast, clear, code-compliant structural solutions that fit into the design rather than fighting it.

Avest Engineering is based in Toronto and works with architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners across Ontario.
